DIRECTORS, managers and staff at Middleton Hall Retirement Village are celebrating after being awarded the Investors in People (IIP) Gold standard for a second time – putting them into an elite one per cent of IIP accredited companies.

Sheila Warren, IIP specialist, said: "Such a high level of accreditation is the sign of great people management practice, demonstrates a commitment to people development and shows an organisation committed to being the very best it can be. Middleton Hall Retirement Village should be extremely proud of their achievement and it is a privilege to work with them.”

Speaking at Middleton Hall’s annual employee awards dinner, Jeremy Walford, managing director, said: "Staff are our most important asset and they make Middleton Hall the special place it is. Our last employee attitude survey showed 96 per cent of staff feeling either very satisfied or fairly satisfied with working here, clearly reflecting our commitment to them."
