A NEW training academy for the construction sector opens in Darlington today.
The Nordic Focus Training Group Academy on Chesnut Street includes three large workshops and seven classrooms and will deliver construction apprenticeships and corporate training.
The Group is currently has more than 400 apprentices in training. The group’s clients include recycling and resource management company SITA, Northumbrian Water and five North-East councils. It has an Academy in London, and plans to open others in the West Midlands and Merseyside.
