TWO Darlington Building Society staff are on target to raise £500 for two causes.
Ruth Murray, customer sales assistant at the Barnard Castle branch, and Wendy Bailey, office manager at Bishop Auckland, took part in the 5k Sunderland Color Run to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support and Stainton Grove community centre in Barnard Castle. The two branch offices will make a contribution through their annual community support allowance which should bring the total to £500.
