A DARLINGTON-BASED steeplejacks has won contracts worth £250,000 to work on some of London’s historic buildings.
Stone Technical Services Group (STS) is to work at the Royal Courts of Justice, Lambeth Palace and Westminster Central Hall.
STS has completed several contracts at the Royal Courts of Justice, but worth £100,000, this is the largest.
It involves carrying out full external condition surveys and a conservation report on the building which dates back to 1882.
At the 13th century Lambeth Palace, STS is completing repairs to the lead roof and at Westminster Central Hall it has completed roof and dome repairs and installed new guttering.
