A TEESDALE medical industry parts maker has announced plans to create jobs.
Classic Industries Europe of Middleton-in-Teesdale is also extending its factory to carry out more work.
The firm designs and makes injection-moulded components.
It already employs more than 50 workers and aims to increase its expected £4.5m turnover.
John Pearson, chief operating officer, said: “We’ve outgrown our premises, so we’re expanding and anticipate a 25 per cent increase in turnover over the next two years.
“Barclays has been instrumental in our growth plans and the expansion will enable us to increase production and provide an additional 4,000sq ft for storage.”
