A COMPANY that provides domiciliary care and healthcare services in Darlington, York and Redcar and Cleveland has acquired a franchise delivering frozen meals and groceries.
Glenn and Sally Pickersgill, of Darlington-based Heritage Healthcare, has acquired an Oakhouse Food franchise to deliver nutritious frozen meals, desserts and groceries throughout Northumberland, Tyne & Wear, County Durham, Cleveland, North Yorkshire, and the East Riding of Yorkshire.
The couple have appointed Martine Holborow as manager to run the business and increase the client base of individuals, home care providers and housing associations within the areas covered.
Mr Pickersgill said: “We currently care for more than 400 elderly or vulnerable people in the region, enabling them to remain in their own homes. We believe Oakhouse Foods is a perfect fit with our existing business. The award-winning frozen meals are complemented by a wide range of grocery products.”
Two new telephone operators and a dedicated team have also been appointed.
