DID you know Maud Cherry? I would be interested to hear from anyone who knew Maud or 'the Cherrys'. The reason being that in Great Missenden High Street there is a tablet set in a wall that pays tribute to the men killed in the First and the Second World War. The first name listed under men killed in action during the Second World War is the name Maud Cherry. I've heard of a boy named Sue but not Maud and I would like to research her story but so far

have not had much luck tracing her through the British Legion or War Memorial archives. Please give me a ring on 01494 862324 if you can help, thanks.
