SMITH Greta Margery, Muriel, Anne, Thomas, Dennis and the family of the late Greta Smith would like to thank all relatives, friends and neighbours for the kindness and sympathy shown and the many letters and cards of condolence received following their recent sad loss. Special thanks to all the wonderful staff at Brentwood Lodge who cared for Mum over the last two years and also the local doctors and district nurses for all their kindness and care. Thanks also to Rev'd Jonathan Oldfield for a lovely service, to Ian Burdon for giving such a fitting tribute to Greta, Judy and Thora for all their help and to Richard Sanderson for all his help and guidance through this difficult time. Thanks also to The Wyvill Arms for the lovely refreshments and to Lamberts for their beautiful flowers which Mum would have loved. Finally grateful thanks for the generous donations given in Greta’s memory which will be shared between Spennithorne Church funds and The Alzheimer’s Society.
