PORTER Dorothy and family would like to thank all relatives, friends and neighbours for the kind expressions of sympathy, support and the many letters and cards of condolence received during their recent sad bereavement also for the extremely generous donations given in memory of William. A special thank you to Herriot Hospice Homecare, District Nurses, Doctors and staff at Leyburn Medical Centre and The Macmillan and Marie Curie Nurses. Grateful thanks to Rev'd Alan Coustick for a comforting service, to Duncan Bythell organist, to Eleanor for arranging the flowers in the chapel, Ghyllfoot for providing the refreshments and also to Simon Barningham.
