ABEL SMITH Of Hurst in Swaledale, passed away peacefully on January 28, after a difficult illness. James aged 70 years. Beloved husband, father and grandfather. Funeral service to be held at St. Andrew's Church, Grinton, tomorrow Saturday February 10, at 11.00 am, followed later by private cremation. Family flowers only please, however donations in memory of James, if so desired, would be welcome for The Rowan Ward, at Harrogate District Hospital and for St. Andrew's Church, Grinton and may be forwarded to Simon Barningham, Manor Farm, Grinton, Richmond, North Yorks. DL11 6HL.
