STEADMAN Ruth (nee Fawcett), aged 83 years, passed away peacefully at home in Richmond on January 21. Much loved wife of Jim, adored mother and grandma of Tim, Mark and Bryan and their children. Caring sister and Auntie Ruth to many, she will always be missed but remain forever in our hearts and minds. Funeral Service at St. Mary's Church, Richmond on Friday February 2, at 1.30pm, followed by committal at The Wear Valley Crematorium, DL14 8NR. Friends please meet at the church. Family flowers only. Attire preferably to include a splash of purple. Donations if desired for Marie Curie Cancer Care and Guide Dogs For The Blind may be sent care of John Blenkiron & Sons Ltd, Funeral Directors, Victoria House, 21 Queens Road, Richmond. DL10 4AJ.
