A HOST of fun and games took place in Reeth with the relaunch of the village sports day.
The sun joined in the fun which saw a good turn-out of children, including many in fancy dress, who followed Reeth Band down to the athletics ground where their outfits were judged by Richmondshire MP Rishi Sunak.
Among the many eye-catching and imaginative fancy dress creations was an orange-faced Donald Trump behind a wall, Clark Kents ready to burst into Superman mode and a bag of Yorkshire Tea.
Amelia Atkinson won the overall fancy dress trophy and Eden Frankland won the under 5s fancy dress Freda Cherry Memorial Trophy.
Meanwhile, a host of athletic challenges took place throughout the day.
Children completed in races including junior and senior miles, flat and fell races and obstacle courses.
Traditional fun sports day events were also in abundance, with youngsters taking part in egg and spoon races and three-legged races.
The Burgoyne Johnson Challenge Cup for senior mile race was won by Ellen Atkinson and the Black Bull Cup for junior mile race was clinched by Rory Baker.
